November has been a busy month for the website team with preparations for the HIV Drug Therapy conference in Glasgow where we celebrated 25 years of hiv-druginteractions.org (you can read more about the celebrations here).
Our preparations included creating a new treatment selector for Gender Affirmation Therapies and reviewing/revising the existing 21 treatment selectors. All six interaction summary tables were reviewed and revised with changes and new comedications, and two additional Resources (Interactions with moderate intensity statins; Interactions with herbal and mineral supplements) were updated.
We have also added a couple of new comedications to the interaction checker – rolapitant (added to the Gastrointestinal agents (anti-emetics) class) and telavancin (added to Antibacterials class). This takes the total number of drugs listed on the interaction checker to 1100.
